About us
Herding® Filtertechnik is a manufacturer of filter media, dust collecting systems and filter systems for industrial use. Within 45 years the filter specialist has developed into a global supplier of complete systems for all sectors of industry.
Dry dust collecting, aerosol separation and material recovery are the main focal points of our work. The name Herding® stands for reliability, quality and outstanding services from our staff. Quality is what we put into practice and produce every day. Continuous improvement and a permanent focus on our customer needs are integral parts of our company philosophy.

Filtration with the Herding filter technology
The filters from Herding Filtertechnik base on pure surface filtration. They sustainably protect man and machine from harmful production emissions and enable absolutely pure and contamination-free material recovery. This directly increases your productivity.
Lowest clean gas values, absolutely constant operating conditions, highest availability and energy efficiency are key features of the innovative technology. Herding® filter elements show extreme durability and, depending on the process, long service lifetimes of more than 15 years. Thereby the filters make a valueable contribution to environmental protection and sustainability.
Herding® filter elements have proven themselves for decades in effective and safe particle separation in almost all areas of industry. Energy-efficient air-recirculation is possible in most cases also for finest particle sizes, proven even with toxic dusts. Numerous applications can be covered in a temperature range of up to 450 °C.
Herding Sinter-Plate Filter – Pure surface filtration
In almost all industrial sectors, Herding® filter elements based on pure surface filtration have proven themselves for decades in effective and safe particle separation, setting standards in the process.
Even with the finest particle sizes, energy-efficient recirculation is possible in most cases, proven even with toxic dusts. With the extensive filter media portfolio, operating temperatures up to 450 °C are safely covered.
Herding COMP filter unit
Herding COMP filter units consequently implement the idea of compact and flexible filter units.
Herding COMP filter units can be used for applications up to approx. 6,000 m3/h. The unique user-friendly design approach results in easy access for operation and maintenance from the front as well as the low profile of the unit.
Herding FLEX filter unit
With the Herding FLEX series, all proven advantagesof pure surface filtration with the Herding® Sinter- Plate Filters are implemented in a compact and space-saving manner.
The filter unit series is extremely flexible for volume flows of approx. 500 m3/h up to several 100,000 m3/h.
